Campus Involvement & Projects

# Director, Africa AIDS Service-Learning Program. With a group of fellow students from CSB/SJU, I helped design and lead a service trip to Africa- Uganda, Kenya, and Rwanda volunteering with AIDS organizations and also focusing on the 1994 Rwanda Genocide. # President, Global AIDS Awareness Organization: I and a group of students founded the organization aimed at raising awareness of HIV/AIDS and other issues in our global community.

# Africa Students & Friends of Africa Association: In collaboration with students from Africa on our campuses, I have just founded this new club with the aim of raising promoting networking among African students and raising awareness of issues concerning Africa.

# Uganda Rural Community Support Foundation: I am collaborating with my brother, Peter in Uganda to design and implement projects to support AIDS orphans and disadvantaged communities in rural Uganda. Visit http://www.ugandaruralcommunitysupport.org

# Hope Integrated Academy: After getting in contact with children in Africa  experiencing difficult conditions, I was inspired to build a school for the orphans and needy children. I am now doing fund-raising for the project.

# Joint Academic Board: For the past two years I have been a member of this board, a sub committee of the St. Ben's and St. John's senate. I previously sat on the Academic Assessment Committee (made of faculty members evaluating academic performance of different department) and the Academic Standards and Policies Committee. Currently, I am serving on the Curricullum Committee. 

# Students for Life: Is a pro-life group on campus. I am also involved in the club activities.

# Center for Men's Leadership & Service: I am involved in a few Men's Center projects on Campus. I will be helping out this year organizing the National Conference for the College Male.
